BUILD THE FUTURE TOGETHER

Help Build the
Best Family Experience Park.

NY Family Expo can become more than a weekend event. It can be a public co-design laboratory for a proposed Future Experience Park at Destiny USA’s Southeast Entertainment Wing—where families help us test what the next generation of family entertainment should become.

WHY DESTINY USA

Build on a Destination Families Already Know.

Destiny USA combines retail, restaurants and entertainment in one regional destination. The Southeast Entertainment Wing provides a natural setting for testing a changing family experience model and connecting it to the broader mall visit.

Destiny USA · Southeast Entertainment Wing

Future Experience Park is being explored for Destiny USA’s Southeast Entertainment Wing. The goal is to create a destination families can return to repeatedly—not only for attractions, but for changing programs, challenges, learning, creativity, events and community experiences.

FAMILIES AS CO-DESIGNERS

Don't Just Ask Families What They Want. Let Them Try It.

The Expo gives us a chance to test ideas before they become permanent. Children and parents can experience prototypes, compare concepts and show us through their choices what is actually engaging and valuable.

01

Vote for Experiences

Rank proposed attractions, stations, themes and family programs and tell us which ones deserve a place in the park.

02

Test Prototypes

Try small versions of games, physical challenges, creative stations, educational experiences and technologies during the Expo.

03

Design Your Ideal Park

Children can sketch, build or assemble their ideal family park, while parents identify what would make them return.

04

Solve Real Design Challenges

Help us think about the best mix for little kids, older children, parents, parties, school trips and repeat visits.

05

Create Future Stations

Schools, universities and companies can co-develop hands-on stations around science, technology, careers, health, creativity and community.

06

Join the Feedback Loop

Share ideas at the Expo and through follow-up surveys so the concept can continue improving as development progresses.

POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE AREAS

Physical Adventure + A World of Changing Ideas.

The park should not become a screen-based learning center. Physical activity remains a major part of the concept, combined with changing stations and programs connected to the world children are growing into.

Challenge, Climb & Adventure

Future Challenge Course, climbing walls, slides, vertical play, obstacle and ninja-style challenges, balance, agility and adventure.

Little Kids Active Play

Age-appropriate climbing, movement, sensory play, loose parts, soft challenges and physical exploration for younger children.

Interactive Movement & Team Play

Sports challenges, active games, team missions, interactive walls and floors, AirPlay-style activities and changing movement experiences.
